The Yard

We had a small birthday celebration in the room upstairs. It's a lovely cosy room with a great atmosphere. The food and drink service was excellent, and the dog came with us. We will definately use it again, maybe for a barbie or poker night. Highly recommended.

I booked The Yard for lunch for my sister-in-laws hen weekend and we found it was an ideal venue. The quality of the food was excellent and, as I had pre-ordered, it was brought out promptly once we were seated with drinks - the staff even used my list of who had ordered what and called people's names out as they brought the meals - no hassle with people forgetting what they'd ordered! The room was perfect size for our group of 17.

Would definately recommend, whether for a meal or a function.

We held my wife's 50th birthday party here and were very impressed with the location, atmosphere, staff and food provided. The location gave it an almost mediteranean feel to the evening. The staff were very helpful and polite. The food was of a high standard and plentiful. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

We held my husbands 30th in the function room upstairs. Really great venue, the staff were incredibly helpful from the day we booked until the very end of the night itself. We had a fantastic night, nothing was too much trouble, and all our guests agreed that the food and the service were brilliant. We would definitely recommend the Yard bar to anyone having a function or just anyone generally! Thanks again!
