The Yard

Had been in for the evening and went out to meet a friend, to whom i was giving a lift home. I was then refused re-entry as this was shortly after 1.30 am. I tried to explain, at which point the so called 'manager' who was on the door became extremely patronising and asked me to leave. It was a shame as it spoilt an, otherwise, good night.shall not be returning any time soon.

TRULY WONDERFUL. THANKS TO HELP FROM PETER AND ANDREW, WE WERE ABLE TO PLAN AND HOLD OUR EVENING WEDDING RECEPTION IN THE YARD'S FUNCTION ROOM AND BALCONY. WE HAD OVER 100 GUESTS AND EVERYBODY COMMENTED ON THE STUNNING QUALITY AND PRESENTATION OF THE BUFFET FOOD. THE BAR STAFF WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND ACCOMODATING AND THE WHOLE EVENT WAS AN OVERWHELMING SUCCESS. WE WOULD NOT HESITATE TO FULLY RECCOMMEND THE YARD'S SERVICES TO ANYONE PLANNING AN EVENT IN THE FUTURE. THANK-YOU ALL.

Just wanted to congratulate The Yard on one of the best burgers I have ever had!!! keep up the good work and I look froward to trying another Yard burger some time very soon!!! :grin

At the end of March I used the function room in The Yard to put on an art exhibition. Although I was uncertain in the beginning, the venue was a tremendous success. Over 70 people attended, and the pictures looked really good hanging in the venue. I sold 4 on the night, and got further commisions. I will definitely use this again - and i'm planning on a repeat with canapes and champagne on the 20th July for a different type of function.

After walking round Ilkley for a while we found ourselves in a bar called the Yard, we were made to feel welcome the minute we walked in the door non of these robotic greetings you get in some pubs, a good selection of beers and wines much to my wifes delight! I chose the steak and my wife had the salmon stir fry and the fact that we both sent back clean plates tells its own story! we will definately be returning to sample more of your fine menu.
